A group of donkeys is called a herd.

The best answer is yes.  Most donkeys have a cross and stripe. Sometimes it is not visible because of their color, for instance in black donkeys. It is unusual to not see a cross.

What is the difference between a burro and a donkey?

Donkey is the correct term for any domesticated ass. Burro is a colloquial term used in the West for the mid-sized descendants of Spanish asses living wild.

What do you call a baby donkey?

Baby donkeys are called foals. After their first birthday they are called yearlings.

How long does a donkey carry a baby?

The gestation period is 12 months. However, as in humans, birthdates are somewhat variable.

Do donkeys ever have twins?

Do donkeys kick?
